  1. wow…i really needed this today. we attended a small get together yesterday to celebrate and “i found it very disturbing to be in a group”….loss of control. just like when driving, old fears, old memories, people in general are conditioned to a point of absolute insanity. just like driving. we all take it with us…all the time. it’s hard to be peaceful and quiet in time square with 3,000,000 people.

  2. Thank for your comment and sharing your insights on this most difficult part of the path. I like to refer to this as an opportunity to “Actualize enlightenment” as follows… If in the moment we can catch ourselves and observe the silent witness (the one the one who is not disturbed) this one silently sees and hears without condemning or judging (an impartial witness) this “one” is never disturbed by anything, ever. In the moment we are witnessing the innate truth of who we really are. A calm abiding presence. We are not who or what we who we think we are. We are something much more that we see, hear and feel. We are the energy that holds everything.

  3. HYSTERICAL! I often call my car my “Angry Car” because almost every time I get in it I find myself either having road rage or else getting FURIOUS about some scenario that has or hasn’t happened. It’s positively crazy because when I’m NOT in my car I’m usually laughing all day. I really am enjoying these podcasts – I’ve never had a quiet mind unless I drugged it to death so I’m gonna see how I can utilize all this awesome information.
