What the heck are we doing here? What is our true purpose in life? What is our deep driving desire?

Hi Pup!
These questions are the big questions in life right?  I myself have been asking them for years and I know that I’m not alone in wanting to know the answers.  I have read hundreds of books ranging from contemporary, esoteric thought to ancient texts such as the Bhagavad Gita, The Tao and the Bible.  All of these books had answers to these questions and not surprisingly they were very similar.  After many years of self study, meditation and literary research I have come to a conclusion:  In most cases the simplest answers to life’s most difficult questions are usually correct.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Why do I think that I’m here?
  • What does my intuition tell me?
  • What are my talents?
  • How do I best serve Humanity?

Work on developing your insight into these questions by doing the following:

  • Meditate on opening your heart to your inner Buddha, Joy, God, Spirit.
  • Make a list of your talents and dreams and carry it with you.
  • Look at the blocks you may have created around your dreams.

Remember to open yourself to all possibilities.

Play and laugh like when you were young:

  • Make a date to do something you enjoyed as a child.
  • Draw a picture.
  • Goof off.
  • Experience the thrill of the unknown.

  1. much food for reflection…many different paths…many different takes…. _/\_

  2. What a cute dog. Those eyes! People use to say to me my dog Sophia had human eyes. She was an amazing dog. I wish she’d could come back, she gave me some sort of purpose.

Thanks for enlightening all of us. We look forward to more.

  3. This post made me smile. I know you do follow those things as soon as you can. It’s refreshing. It makes things more simple… happier… less stressful.

  4. A quiet mind is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. I’ve attended numerous churches in my life time, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, New Age, and others. I’ve never been able to connect in any of these churches. As I walked out the church doors, I felt more alone and sadder than ever.

A quiet mind gives me a sense of peace, a feeling unknown to me. I get a sense of belonging somewhere on this planet, not that I’m a waste of space. I’m so happy Robert has decided to do this full time. I’m all eyes and ears here and hope I can contribute in my own unique way.

Thank you Robert. The music you play here is wonderful to!
