Going with the flow

When we resist life, life seemingly resists us. When we learn to accept everything as it is in the moment we are embracing that moment completly, wholly and without demanding that it be different than it is right now. Total acceptance is total surrender to what is. When we flow with life, life flows with us. Embrace all that is right now and uncover the peaceful, loving being that you are.

  1. Thank you. I found this day’s cast to be quite helpful, as I’ve been seeking external approval very much lately. Please keep up the lectures!

You are very welcome! More to come!

    Thanks
    Robert

  2. Robert,
This was an excellent podcast. Thank you for the great ideas. I appreciate your work and the information conveyed in all of your podcasts.

    Best regards,
    Joe

  3. I loved this podcast as well. I am catching up and listening to all of them. The world is very discouraging as is my job, this is really helping me to stay calm and put things into perspective!

  4. To Angela:
I think everyone’s job is discouraging right now. I’ve been thinking that I am about to lose my job for 3 years! Things change all of the time and it is always for the worse.

I also have just discovered these podcasts. I was feeling very “yucky” for lack of a better word. I stopped drinking alcohol and coffee, just to see how it would make me feel, and I decided to try to meditate. I’ve been reading whatever I could find about meditation and that is how I found these podcasts. It is so timely for me, it is so much easier to go with the flow than to freak out all day every day.

  5. Amen to that Chris, some technologies, and the goal of absolute perfection, I feel, has made the world too fast paced. I was feeling the same way, freaked out all the time. I stopped drinking as well but for fertility reasons and it has helped my emotional state. Patience (and calm) really is a virtue and I am at a point in my life where I am striving for both, and I wish you the best of luck!
I put these podcasts on shuffle and listen. Just the breathing and Robert’s calming voice and rational opinions of the world are helpful and soothing to hear.
